About Me

Alvise Carraro is an award-nominated composer based in Italy, working across film, video games, and interactive media.

He recently composed the original score for the documentary "Il Santo di Carne" by director Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, and contributed as composer to the feature film "Raka & Roiskis" by acclaimed director Teemu Nikki (The Blind Man Who Did Not Want To See Titanic, 2021).

He holds two academic degrees with highest honors: a Bachelor's in Classical Composition and a Master's in Music for Film and Media from the Francesco Venezze Conservatory of Rovigo, where he studied under Maestro Marco Biscarini (2020 Golden Globe nomination - Best Original Score).

For video games, Alvise has worked as Audio Director, Game Composer, and Sound Designer for multiple indie titles, using adaptive audio middleware such as FMOD. He often contributes to game design and is also proficient in scripting and coding for virtual instrument libraries (KSP).

Alongside his work in media, he has served as an arranger and orchestrator for various orchestral ensembles, working on both concert music and film scores.

His signature style blends acoustic orchestration with electronic textures, aiming to create emotionally rich and immersive sound worlds.
